Humans are born into Earth with both the blessing and the opportunity to take care of it. It is a given that we are comfortable residing as benefactors of Earth however, we shouldn’t get too comfortable thinking that our presence holds no responsibility. Would a person enter another person’s house to break the host’s valuable objects? Of course not. Since we are guests of the world God made, it is not right to enter only to cause destruction. While we are here residing in nature, we are also given an important task to nurture it as much as it nurtures us.
